Simple Card Making Projects In A Flash No Matter Your Skill Level

simple card crafting with designer series paper

Have a special occasion coming up and need a card and gift card holder all in one? I’ve got you covered! In last night’s Simple Card Making Projects Class, I shared how to create fun fold card/gift card holders—perfect for birthdays, weddings, or any celebration.

I love creating cards that double as gift card holders—it’s like wrapping your gift and card all in one thoughtful package.

During the class, I showed you how to make these simple stamping designs using the Everyday Arches Dies and the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper.

This is just a sneak peek of what’s coming in my July Stamp Camp at Home Card Club Kit—and trust me, you won’t want to miss it!

Club members can find the exclusive PDF file for this bonus project in my Photo Gallery, ready to download and print.

And that’s not all! This card is just one of the bonus projects included this month. Club members also receive:

  • A card kit to create 8 beautiful cards
  • 12 x 12 package of the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper
  • A full Package of the Holographic Resin Dots
  • Step-by-step video tutorials
  • Printable PDF instructions for every card in the kit

If you’re not a member yet, now’s a great time to join and get in on all the creative fun!

This card may look like a beautiful, standard A2 card from the outside—but the fun begins when you open it up and discover the ½ door (Dutch door) front!

The Everyday Arches on the card front double as a clever pocket for a gift card—a fun and functional twist.

Quick Tip: When attaching your arches to the card front, be sure to apply liquid glue only along the sides and bottom to create the pocket. Don’t do what I did during the video and accidentally seal the whole thing shut!

Luckily, I was able to carefully lift it up and use my Embossing Buddy to remove the stickiness from the tape. If you don’t have an embossing buddy, a little talcum powder will do the trick too!

To keep the design cohesive, I carried the beautiful Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper to the inside of the card as well—it ties everything together beautifully!

I also used the Cheers & Sips stamp set to continue the sentiment from the front of the card to the inside, creating a polished and thoughtful finish.

Looking for more simple card making projects using the Everyday Arches Dies or any framelit dies?

A few weeks ago, I created a fun fold pop-up card featuring the Countryside Corners Dies, and the Everyday Arches versatile dies—and you can watch that video HERE.

I love a good framelit die—not just for stamping sentiments, but for creating interactive and unique cards like fun folds, pocket cards, gift card holders, tri-folds, and pop-ups. The Everyday Arches Dies are perfect for all of these simple card making projects!
