The Lovely & Lasting stamp set has this pretty floral image in the set; but you may be wondering how to stamp it when the stems and leaves are on the same stamp as the flowers.  Well I demonstrated how to use an image like this in one of my weekly questions; “How to color and stamp a multi-image stamp”?  You can find that blog post HEREThe Lovely and Lasting stamp set does not have a coordinating die but, the imagines are large enough to hand cut them out quickly.

My color combination on this card came from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely in Linen Designer Series Paper.  The card base and the ribbon is the Sweet Sorbet and  I used the Soft Succulent Opal Rounds to accent the card.

I would call the layout or technique that I used on this card a color blocking layout.  This is where you take strips of Designer Series Paper and do some blocking with the paper strips and the empty space was used to stamp the flower image.

To get the Sweet Sorbet ink on my flowers to stamp nice and dark I used the Stamparatus so I could ink it and stamp the image repeatedly until I got the color I wanted.   The sentiment was also stamped with the Sweet sorbet ink and then die cut with the Stylish Shapes die.
