Stamping Techniques And Ideas With Team Stamp Camp

stamping techniques and ideas triple time technique

All of today’s cards were created by my team stamp camp members for a swap of the new annual catalog. I’m a bit late in showcasing them but they are all beautiful and each card offers different stamping techniques and they deserved to be spotlighted.

This first card was created by Sara Hoogendoorn and she used the Wisteria Wishes stamp set to create her card.  I love the pinks on this card but really it would look gorgeous in a variety of colors.  I’m thinking I could do a whole box of cards as a gift making each one in a different color with a different sentiment.  When I get that completed I’ll post it.  Doesn’t that make you just want to grab the stamp set and go to town?  This card also has a technique to it; do. you see it?  I love to use different Stamping Techniques on my cards and this one is perfect for this stamp set.

It is the Double Time Technique similar to the Triple Time Technique.  Love it!

Next up we have this beautiful Sending Comfort & Strength card created by Belinda Koroleski.  She used the New Starry Sky In Color and the Sending Smiles bundle.  The background piece is from the New In Color Designer Series Paper pack.

You may be asking where is the stamping techniques to this card?  I believe each and every card we create has different techniques and ideas to them.  Some may not consider them a technique but they all come from an idea.  I think choosing to create a card with the sentiment angled and not perfectly straight on the card front is considered a technique.  This is something I generally do not do on cards but I do love the look and need to start thinking more creatively when creating my cards.   I do think that the “Sending” sentiment lends itself to being attached on an angle.  This gives a great focal point and by popping up the sentiment and the circle piece it gives dimension to your card.

This fun card was created by Julie Carte and she used the Nature’s Prints stamp set and paired it with the Picture This dies.  I would consider this to be a peek-a-boo stamping techniques.  The background blue piece is part of the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper and all these products are part of the Sun Prints Suite.  You can find the whole suite on pages 90 & 91 of the annual catalog.  I really like the peek-a-boo look you can create with these dies and I need to do more cards like this; so simple but oh so cute!

This Sun Prints Suite of Products card was created by Carol Koroleski.  Can you spot the stamping techniques on this card?  If you said, embossing the designer series paper with the Fern 3D embossing folder than you would be correct.   You might say I don’t consider that a technique.  I think anything you do with your cards outside of the normal stamping is considered a technique.  Some techniques are subtle and some take more time; but we each have different stamping styles and techniques we love to follow.

As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I love to showcase a variety of different techniques and ideas.  My stamping style may not be for everyone and I’m okay with that.  My main goal is that you find maybe a new tip, color combination, layout or something that you can use in your stamping.  Take a card or idea and make it your own!

Finally this card was created by Donne Hoogeveen.  Donne has been grandfathered into our team.  Donne used the Sweet Songbirds Bundle and the new Fabulous Frames dies on her card.  You may notice this card looks familiar; that is because I used Donne’s card to create my Stamp Camp In Color Club cards.  I loved this card and wanted to create it in all the New In Colors.

What is the stamping techniques on this card?  Well some may call it a faux picture frame card as it has the frame around the center stamped bird image and it is popped up so it gives you the illusion that it is a stamped framed picture.  I just love the dimension that the faux frame gives to your cards.  I can see this done with trees in the center or a stamped landscape maybe.
