Well for starters you can use the blending brushes to achieve a way cool background like I did with today’s card. Each print in the pack has a nice foil embossed image which will show through any ink that you apply to the paper.

What other embossed resist stamping techniques could you do with these papers? Stay tuned, but for today I used the blending brushes with ink pads.
While I was gone for the past 2 and 1/2 weeks experiencing the great outdoors in the beautiful state of Wyoming I knew when I returned home that I had to create a card with this particular piece of paper. The Silver dots reminded me of the starry nights we had camping. I guess you could also think snow but it was stars for me.
I began by blending the Starry Sky ink all over my paper using the Blending Brushes. Next I added a bit of Night of Navy ink around the edges and then I added some of the Crushed Curry ink in the center.
After I got the background the way I wanted it; the next part was the trees. I pulled out my new Wisteria Wonder stamp set and used the flower image for my trees; stamping them with the Black Memento ink. I wanted a solid stamped image so that’s why I went with this stamp. After I stamped all the trees I went to look for a sentiment to use. I knew I wanted a straight line sentiment. This sentiment that I chose came from the Trees for Sale stamp set; which after finding my sentiment I could have used the different solid image trees from that stamp set, oh well maybe the next card.
