Update

Saturday, March 5, 2011

Well it has been a VERY LONG and Stressful week here in Texas.  We have gone thru a series of emotional ups and downs.  My mom is doing much better and is back in the rehabilitation center.  She is still very disoriented and gets things mixed up a lot.  My sister and I have asked for a Neurologist to come in and check her out.  We don’t know if you suffers some paralysis from the strokes or if it is just lack of sleep like last year.   She is improving though as far as the pneumonia is much better, her legs no longer hurt and they have stabilized her sugar and blood pressure.  We are struggling to get her to eat because she has thrush again, but that is getting better too.  We went with her to therapy today and we think she should be able to gain strength in her arms and hopefully her legs again.  We are praying that she will be able to walk again soon.  Our goal is to get her back to Michigan as soon as we can.  My sister and I will probably be heading back to Michigan next week sometime and hopefully in 3 weeks my sister and one of my brother’s will return to help fly Mom and Dad back home.  Please keep all of us in your Prayers it has helped so much already!!!  Thank you for so much for the outpouring of love and prayers it is much appreciated!

I’m hoping to show you some card samples by the end of next week. 🙂
