12 Easter Cards from One Sheet of Paper
Last night I took one single sheet from the Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper and created 12 super cute Easter cards.
Yes — 12 cards from just one sheet!
The best part?
Each of the card layouts is identical.
That means you have options:
-
Create all 12 cards exactly the same for a quick and easy assembly-line style project.
-
Change up the card base colors.
-
Add different embellishments and accessories.
-
Mix and match colors pulled from the patterned paper.
-
Try different ribbon, gems, or die cuts.
-
Experiment until you discover your favorite combination.
You can make:
-
12 identical cards
-
6 of one design and 6 of another
-
3 different sets of 4
-
Or make all 12 completely unique
The choices are truly endless with these creative one sheet card ideas.
Let’s Take a Closer Look at Each of the Cards
Even though the layout is identical on all 12 cards, you’ll notice how changing the card base color, embellishments, and focal elements gives each one its own personality.
Card #1 features a Pretty In Pink card base, and I carried that same color through by matting the Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper with Pretty In Pink as well. Layering the same color under the designer paper really frames it beautifully and makes those soft pink tones stand out even more.
I couldn’t resist die cutting the adorable little basket and adding all the pink details to tie everything together. And of course, I just had to place that super cute little bunny right in the middle!
The bunny tucked inside the basket adds the perfect focal point and gives this card such a sweet, classic Easter feel. It’s soft, it’s cheerful, and it’s everything you want in a handmade Easter card.
Card #2 features a Peach Pie card base. This time, I kept the design extra simple by adding just a clean sentiment across the card front. No extra layers, no die cuts — just a bold greeting to anchor the layout.
To finish it off, I accented the front with a couple of pieces from the Easter Assortments, which add just the right touch of sparkle and texture without overpowering the design.
This is such a super quick and easy take on the layout — perfect when you need to create multiple handmade Easter cards in a short amount of time.
Card #3 features a beautiful Balmy Blue card base, giving this design a soft, springtime feel.
I also brought in the Balmy Blue Gingham Ribbon, which is part of the Easter Joy Suite of products. That sweet gingham detail adds just the right touch of texture and charm without overwhelming the layout.
This adorable card also features one of the die-cut bunnies from the Easter Basket Bundle. To make him even more irresistible, I added a tiny little carrot in his hand — because every bunny needs a carrot for Easter!
Card #4 brings back the Pretty In Pink card base and coordinating mat, creating a soft and cohesive look that beautifully frames the Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper.
This time, I kept the design simple with just a clean sentiment across the front. Sometimes a straightforward greeting is all you need — especially when the paper is already doing so much of the design work for you.
To add a little extra charm, I decorated the front with a few of the Pink Gingham Easter Assortment pieces.
Card #5 features a Crumb Cake card base and matching mat. Crumb Cake is one of those colors that works beautifully with just about anything, and it really allows the softer Easter tones to stand out.
Behind the mat layer, I added a piece of Balmy Blue to bring in a subtle pop of color and tie everything together. That extra layer adds depth and keeps the neutral base from feeling too plain.
This time, I added another piece of the Balmy Blue Gingham Ribbon for a soft, sweet accent. The ribbon pairs perfectly with the cool blue layer and adds just the right amount of texture.
For the focal point, I used the sweet “Easter Is On The Way” sentiment along with a little bunny to finish it off. The bunny adds charm and personality, while the sentiment makes this card perfect for sending early Easter greetings.
For Card #6, I used Peach Pie for both the card base and the mat, creating a soft, warm backdrop that really complements the spring tones in the designer paper.
To add a little contrast and depth, I layered a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock behind the mat piece.
This time, I brought in another Easter Basket as the focal point, complete with a sweet little bunny and a couple of flowers tucked inside. The added florals give the design a fresh springtime feel, and the bunny keeps it playful and perfect for Easter.
Even though the layout remains the same, changing the color combination and focal image makes this card feel completely different from the others in the set.
For Card #7, I went with a Crumb Cake card base. But this time, I switched things up a bit with the layering. The mat is Pretty In Pink, and behind that I added a piece of Basic White. Mixing up the color order like this creates a completely different look while still using the same layout. It’s a great reminder that even small changes in layering can make a big impact.
To finish off the card, I added a simple Happy Easter banner across the front along with a cute little bunny and carrot. That sweet focal point keeps the card playful and festive while still feeling clean and balanced.
Card #8 features a Crumb Cake card base and matching mat. Behind the mat, I added a piece of Balmy Blue to bring a fresh pop of color and subtle contrast. That extra layer helps the layout stand out without feeling busy.
For the finishing touches, I added a simple “Easter’s On The Way” banner along with a sweet little bunny.
Card #9 brings back the Balmy Blue card base and matching mat, with a layer of Basic White behind the mat to add brightness and clean contrast. This combination keeps the card soft, fresh, and perfect for spring.
For the focal point, I kept it simple with the “Easter’s On The Way” banner sentiment. I added a Crumb Cake strip behind the banner to give it a little grounding and dimension, and finished it with a cute little bunny holding a carrot.
Card #10 features a Shy Shamrock card base and matching mat, layered onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. The crisp white layer brightens the design and really makes the soft green tones pop.
For the focal point, I used a “Happy Easter” banner sentiment with a strip of Shy Shamrock behind it to add depth and a little contrast. And of course, no Easter card is complete without a super cute bunny tucked into the design!
Card #11 features another version of the Peach Pie card base with a coordinating Peach Pie mat layered onto Basic White cardstock. This combination creates a soft, warm look that’s perfect for spring and Easter.
For the focal point, I paired the little bunny holding a carrot with the “Easter Is On The Way” banner die cut. The bunny adds a playful touch, while the banner keeps the sentiment front and center.
Finally, Card #12 features the Pretty In Pink card base and mat, layered onto Basic White cardstock for a bright and cheerful spring look.
For this card, I switched up the bunny by stamping him on Crumb Cake cardstock using Early Espresso ink, giving him a soft, warm tone that contrasts nicely with the pinks and whites.
I paired the bunny with the “Easter’s On The Way” sentiment and added a few pieces from the Pretty In Pink Gingham Easter Assortment for extra charm. I even tucked one tiny gingham piece right into the bunny’s hand — such a sweet, playful detail!
