Easy Card Making for Beginners With Designer Series Paper

creative handmade card designs with designer seires paper

Looking for easy card making for beginners using designer series paper.  Today’s card is a peek at one of the bonus cards for my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club Kit for July, featuring the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper. If you’re new to card making, you’ll love how simple and fun it is to create beautiful handmade cards using just this paper pack—no need for the coordinating Cheers & Sips bundle unless you want your cards to look exactly like mine!

I used the prints in the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper to inspire my color palette for this card. The card base is Strawberry Slush, with accent pieces in Daffodil Delight to complement the cheerful tones in the paper. I stamped the sentiment using Strawberry Slush ink for a coordinated and polished look.

Let the prints in the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper do the work for you! Use the patterned designs as your background layers, and hand-cut the images to create eye-catching accents that make your cards pop. One of my favorite prints features a fun mix of colorful rectangles—perfect for a vibrant background.

The bright glasses filled with summertime details like lemons, limes, strawberries, and mint leaves make the perfect accents for festive summer cards and celebrations. I fussy cut these glasses directly from the designer paper, but you can also use the coordinating Cheers & Sips Bundle to stamp your own images and die cut them with ease. Whether you hand cut or use the dies, these elements will bring your cards to life!

To create the sentiment layer, I used the Nested Essentials Dies with my Cut & Emboss Machine and added a coordinating strip of cardstock behind it for a pop of color. If you don’t have dies or a machine, no problem—just cut rectangles from cardstock for your sentiments!

To finish the card, I added Holographic Resin Dots for a bit of sparkle. You can even customize them by coloring with Stampin’ Blends to match any project!
