easy diy gift card holder for birthday's or wedding's

If you are looking for an easy DIY gift card holder you can make for birthday’s or weddings, I’ve got you covered with last night’s One Sheet Wonder class.   This month in my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club Kit I’m featuring the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper.   This beautiful paper pack has coordinating die cuts that go with the printed papers and they are perfect for your upcoming celebrations.  If you would like to know more about my card club kit see this post HERE.

Every Thursday night I will be on my YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp” at 8:00PM EST for my One Sheet Wonder class, sometimes it is just a fun fold card or specific technique, but generally a One Sheet Wonder.  Last night’s class was all about easy DIY gift card holders.  These can be used for Birthday’s or Wedding’s and each has a special spot to hold your gift card, check or cash.

Let’s Dive in to Last Night’s One Sheet Wonder Cards:

easy diy gift card holder for a birthday card

First up was this fun pocket card that holds a notecard for you to stamp or write a personal message for the recipient.  This is also where you will slip in your gift card holder, cash, or check.

This beautiful birthday die cut matches perfectly with the prints in the pack and is just so elegant looking with the gold foiling in the printed papers.

A little Peach Pie and Soft Sea Foam cardstock with the prints makes this a stunning card to give.

Here is the inside pocket and notecard that slips inside the pocket on your card front.  A beautiful combination of a card and gift all in one!

The second card, which looks similar to the first card, except that it is horizontal and isn’t a pocket card, is just as pretty.  For this card I used a couple of the die cuts and the pennant die from the coordinating Birthday Celebration Bundle, for my sentiment piece on the front.  I also decided I wanted to mat this die cut, so I showed how you can do just that, by adhering the die cut to a piece of cardstock and using your scissors to trim an edge all the way around.

The pretty in pink pennant strung across the top edge of the die, is a stamp from the coordinating Birthday Celebration Bundle, as are all the sentiments on all the cards I created last night.

Now you can see how this easy diy gift card holder opens to reveal the pocket for your gift card, cash or check.  Inside also has a large space to stamp or write your personal message to the recipient.

Next up was this stunner, which can be used for any occasion you would like to give a gift inside.  I left off the sentiment, so if I want to give this for a Wedding card/gift I can.  This gorgeous bouquet die cut works for so many occasions, you don’t need to do much else to the card front, but add a few party dots.

Inside you still have a spot to write or stamp your inside sentiment and a little pocket to slip in your gift card, check or cash.  Plus, the inside showcases that gorgeous other side of the paper so it is just as beautiful inside as out.

Three gorgeous One Sheet Wonder cards from just one 12 X 12 Sheet of the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Club members will find the Download One Sheet Wonder Pattern and the Project Sheet for all these cards in the photo gallery here on my blog.  This is just one of the perks for being a Stamp Camp at Home Card Club member.
