Today I’m excited to showcase two different Stampin’ Up! kits with you! The first is the August Paper Pumpkin Kit—Farmhouse Floral. This beautiful kit has a nostalgic charm with its cozy farmhouse scenes, vintage typewriter, and gorgeous florals—everything you’d expect from a timeless farmhouse vibe.
Paper Pumpkin kits typically involve a little stamping, and this month you get a special bonus—two stamp sets instead of one! So you get twice the sentiments and designs, giving you even more options for decorating both the outside and the inside of your cards.
For my set, I turned all of the cards into thank you cards, since that’s what I use most. The kit makes 9 cards in total, featuring 3 different designs, with 3 of each design to complete.
This beautiful card from the kit has so many layers that you might not notice at first glance. The bag and strap are popped up, along with the tag and several of the flowers, adding wonderful depth and dimension to the design.
A small twine bow was the perfect finishing touch for the tag, making it look as though it’s truly hanging from the bag’s strap.
This charming vintage typewriter, complete with a ‘Just a Note’ message, brings a nostalgic feel—hearkening back to when sending a typed letter was the ultimate way to express thanks.

Today, I’ll be sharing the Brighten Your Day Kits Collection kit. Like other Kits Collection kits, these easy to assemble card kits make a fantastic gift!
The Brighten Your Day kit is an all-inclusive kit, and all the sentiments are already printed and die-cut—so all you need to do is punch them out. Each of the three card designs in this kit features an embossed laser die-cut piece that you can customize with blending brushes and your favorite inks. Here’s a helpful tip: if you decide to change the colors, do it before punching the pieces out of their die-cut spots, as some of these intricate dies can bend easily. I chose to keep mine as originally designed so you can see the finished cards and appreciate just how beautiful they are. Like other Kits Collection kits, this one makes a total of 9 cards: 3 different designs, with 3 of each design.
This beautiful floral die-cut on the marbled pink and purple background really stands out, making a bold statement. Did you notice the twine behind each sentiment? It adds an extra special touch to every card. And those coordinating envelopes—aren’t they just gorgeous?
The final card in this kit features charming birds on a branch against a beautiful marbled blue background—simply stunning.
You might be wondering what the difference is between Kits Collection kits and Paper Pumpkin kits:
Paper Pumpkin kits are all-inclusive, meaning they come with everything you need to create the cards—from stamps and inks to adhesives. They’re also a fun surprise in the mail—you don’t know exactly what the cards will look like until you open your box. Stampin’ Up! gives a small sneak peek through the box design and kit name, but the full reveal is part of the fun. Think of Paper Pumpkin kits like a Christmas gift—you won’t know what you’re getting until you unwrap it! Paper Pumpkin kits are available exclusively to subscribers. The August Farmhouse Floral kit is no longer available, and to receive the September Fall for Toile kit, you’ll need to subscribe by September 10.
Kits Collection kits work a little differently. Some are all-inclusive with no stamping required, as the sentiments are already die-cut and the cards are ready for assembly. Others include an ink spot and stamp set, so you can do a little stamping before putting the cards together. Unlike Paper Pumpkin, Kits Collection kits are not subscription-based—you can pick and choose exactly which kits you want and how many to purchase. Kits Collection kits are available until they are discontinued, which usually means they’re carried for a few months. This gives you plenty of time to grab them—no need to worry about missing out right away.
